Job description
Woodhouse Primary School has an exciting opportunity for a Swimming Instructor to deliver high-quality swimming lessons during term time. Hours of work are negotiable for the successful candidate.
You will have experience of:
* Planning and delivering high quality swimming lessons to primary aged pupils
* Creating a positive and fun environment in which to motivate and encourage swimmers
* Ensuring safe provision of all equipment and ensuring it is used correctly
* Developing swimmer's techniques and identifying ways to improve performance
* Evaluating sessions and giving feedback
The candidate will need a:
* Level 2 Teaching Swimming Qualification
* Current Rescue Test or National Pool Lifeguard qualification
* Positive and enthusiastic attitude towards swimming
* Good level of communication
* Polite, friendly and confident manner
