As a Delivery Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the vehicle supply operations based at our site in Ashby De La Zouch. Your responsibilities will include supporting in the coordination of vehicle arrival and delivery times, maintaining smooth inbound and outbound operations, and ensuring effective communication with supply chain partners. Your contributions will be pivotal in maintaining an efficient flow of vehicles into our site.
Responsibilities
* Support in coordinating vehicle supply and delivery, ensuring alignment with build plans and logistics.
* Identify and address any blockages.
* Maintain relationships with vehicle supply chain partners for efficient vehicle movement.
* Accurately update vehicle booking and damage systems within agreed timeframes.
* Support in answering inbound and outbound enquiries, ensuring quick and efficient responses.
* Uphold a professional approach and positive attitude in all interactions.
* Minimise labour waste and costs while adhering to safety and quality standards.
* Ensure strict adherence to all relevant processes and policies.
* Develop knowledge of related roles to provide cover during absences and assist other departments as needed.
Skills & Experience
* Strong administration experience, ideally in a transport or production office.
* Highly organised and capable of processing large amounts of data accurately.
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Email; knowledge of SAP or similar systems is a plus.
* Personable with excellent communication skills.
* Driven, proactive, and resilient.
* Self-motivated with a passion for delivering customer service excellence.
* Full UK driving license.
The hours of work are 37 hours per week Monday to Friday over 4.5 days
