CNC Miller
Location: Keighley
Hourly Rate: £17.37
A well-established manufacturer in Keighley is seeking an experienced CNC Miller to join its team, with opportunities arising due to upcoming retirements. This is a hands-on role within a modern, forward-thinking engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines
Working from SOPs and engineering drawings
Conducting self-inspection to maintain quality standards
Recommending and supporting improvements to machining processes
Supporting apprentices and promoting company values
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Proven CNC machining experience
Ability to program using either Fanuc, Siemens 840D, or Heidenhain controls
A solid understanding of Health & Safety, ISO9001:2015, and 5S principles
A proactive and flexible attitude, with strong communication skills
Success in the Role Will Be Measured By:
High “right first time” and on-time output
Low NCR (Non-Conformance Report) rates
Strong housekeeping and 5S standards

£17.37 per hour
33 days holiday (including bank holidays)
8% pension (4% employer, 4% employee)
39 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexitime and early Friday finish
