They have a great reputation within the industry built on trust and long-standing relationships.They now have an exciting position within their Claims Team and are seeking an experienced Commercial Claims Handler to assist with the Clients needs.The Role Commercial Claims HandlerYou will be an integral part of a dynamic Commercial Claims Team, dealing with a wide variety of insurance business including Motor (Domestic and Commercial), Motor Fleet, Haulage, Property, Liability, Household & Goods in Transit.Review and record claims on our system within product standards, check policy coverage and allocate appropriate codes and reserves. To handle all contact from insurers, clients, uninsured loss providers and third parties To record claims and forward immediately to insurers and/or uninsured loss recovery agents. To update records as claim progresses To oversee claims from first notification to settlement To advise clients regarding claims procedures and liability To ensure that files are maintained and cleared as appropriateThe ideal individual will haveMinimum of 2 years’ experience in claims handling, within the Commercial sector with Good in Transit preferredStrong understanding of insurance contracts and claims processes. Ability to manage own case load effectively and efficiently. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Commercially minded with a proactive approach to claims management. Experience using claims management systems is advantageous.
