Learning Support Assistant – Early Years Foundation Stage
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and effective Learning Support Assistant (LSA). The successful candidate will become part of our friendly and hard‑working team dedicated to ensuring our children learn well and are well cared for.
Responsibilities include working with children individually, in small groups and in classes, including teaching some classes when teachers have release time. The role also involves a pastoral element, providing a listening ear and support to children dealing with emotional and life challenges.
Compensation and hours:
* Scale 3: £25,989 – £26,403 (approximately £13.47 – £13.69 per hour)
* Part‑time, 32.5 hours per week
* Term time plus inset days. 10‑month two‑week October half term from September 2026
* Monday to Friday: 8:30 am – 3:30 pm (30‑minute lunch break)
Support and development: The LSA will receive training and other support within the Vine Schools Trust and the Diocese, and be subject to an enhanced DBS check, suitable references and a pre‑employment medical check.
