We are a company that works with the NHS across various trusts. Our Aim and Objective is to ensure the Trusts are following the government guidelines and targets for healthcare waste. Ensuring the waste is being segregated correctly, educating staff on these guidelines, saving the trust money and being as environmentally friendly as we can be. We are a close knit group of colleagues who share journey times and work close by to offer any support should the need arise however we often work alone during our daily tasks. We are looking for a motivated individual to join our growing team as our workload increases. In order to get a feel for the role come along and join us for a trial to see what we get up to and decide if it’s the job for you! Duties and responsibilities Our daily tasks include; Liaising with colleagues to plan the work day before arriving to site. Visiting areas of the site to complete audits of the waste streams. Ensuring any noncompliances are safely corrected before leaving the area. Recording all details on the database tablet. Offering advice and guidance on correct disposal routes. Often performing presentations to groups of staff on the full waste management training package. Ensuring all administrative duties are kept up to date daily. With our growing workload you will have the opportunities to take on exciting projects alongside the daily tasks above. No two days are the same and it’s sure to keep you on your toes. Experience and qualifications You will need; Great communication skills, able to speak with staff of all levels. Full clean driving license and own car. Confident in driving to locations within London and its surrounding areas. Able to work as part of a team and use own initiative. This is an active role that involves a lot of walking during the working day.
