We're seeking an experienced
Clinical / Counselling Psychologist
or
BABCP-accredited CBT Therapist
to join our
Hastings Assessment & Treatment Service (ATS)
. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your therapy skills, broaden your leadership and supervision experience, and play a key role in shaping our evolving neighbourhood mental health teams.
You'll be part of a well-regarded, supportive multi-disciplinary team working with adults experiencing severe and complex mental health difficulties.
What you'll be doing
* Delivering high-quality, specialist psychological assessments and interventions
* Leading on formulation, treatment planning, and evidence-based interventions (including CBT, trauma-focused, attachment-based, and systemic approaches)
* Taking a
clinical leadership role
, providing consultation, supervision, and training to colleagues across the team
* Supervising Assistant Psychologists, Trainees and Graduate Volunteers
* Using your research skills to contribute to
audit, evaluation and service improvement
* Helping develop and expand psychologically informed pathways as part of
community mental health transformation
What we're looking for
HCPC-registered
Clinical / Counselling Psychologist
(or equivalent training) OR BABCP-accredited
CBT Therapist
Post-qualification experience of working with adults with severe and enduring mental health difficulties (e.g. trauma, psychosis, personality difficulties)
Experience in
risk assessment, complex case formulation and evidence-based interventions
Skilled in supervision, consultation, and MDT collaboration
Strong knowledge of psychological models, research methods, and service evaluation
Desirable:
* Interest or expertise in psychosis, trauma, emotional intensity, or specific approaches (CBT, EMDR, CAT, Family Work)
