Position Overview We are looking for a Senior Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer to join our team in Milton Keynes. It is a varied role where you will assist the Sales team with providing technical solution design proposals to our portfolio of clients. Existing pre-sales experience is not required for this role. It is an excellent opportunity for someone with the right technical background who would like to step into this line of work. Salary & Benefits The budgeted salary for this role is between £50,000 and £60,000 a year (including a £4,500 car allowance), plus a 5% commission rate. Click here for the list of benefits. Hybrid working & Travel The role requires 2 days a week in the Milton Keynes office (typically Tuesdays and Thursdays). The role will require ad-hoc travel to client sites. The majority of clients are local to the Milton Keynes area, but there will be some requirement to travel further as required. Responsibilities Some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Understanding and providing the definition of complex project scope, goals and deliverables. Creating proposals and sales documentation in partnership with other members of the sales team. Ensuring that all projects are correctly scoped and professional services quoted accordingly Assist Business Development Manager/Client Managers as required in prospective client and existing client meetings with regards to technical queries. Reviewing new solutions and creating business cases. Qualifications & Experience The right candidate for this role will have worked in a field engineering or onsite engineering role in an MSP environment. It is not essential to have pre-sales experience for this position, although it would be an advantage.
