This is a fixed-term role for 12 months to cover maternity leave.
Responsibilities
As Executive Assistant, you’ll provide high-level, confidential support to the Chief Brand and External Communications Officer. You’ll be trusted to manage a wide range of responsibilities, including:
* Managing complex diaries, email inbox, meetings and travel across multiple time zones.
* Preparing presentations, reports and board-level documents.
* Handling sensitive correspondence and acting as a key point of contact.
* Coordinating internal and external meetings, including logistics and venues.
* Supporting internal events (virtual and in-person) for 150+ delegates.
* Managing expenses, invoices and budget tracking.
* Maintaining accurate records, distribution lists and organisational charts.
* Acting as a mentor to other assistants in the function.
* Collaborating with other Executive Assistants and senior stakeholders across Bupa.
* You’ll also play a key role in planning future meetings and supporting confidential projects.
What you'll bring
We’re looking for someone who’s proactive, professional and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You’ll need:
* Strong experience as a PA/EA, supporting senior executives or board-level leaders is essential.
* Excellent organisational and planning skills – always thinking ahead.
* Strong judgement and the confidence to make decisions on behalf of others when required.
* A calm, solutions-focused mindset with great problem-solving skills.
* Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
* Experience managing events from start to finish.
* Brilliant communication skills – written and verbal.
* A positive, can-do attitude and the ability to multitask under pressure.
* Discretion, diplomacy and resilience when handling sensitive information.
* A collaborative approach and the ability to build strong relationships.
