We're looking for a Financial Controller to oversee a small transactional team. In
this role you will be responsible for regulatory reporting across the organisation.
Preparation of management accounts. Production of draft financial statements and
manage the audit process.
You will get involved in the implementation of a new system and new process and

Description
* Lead the preparation and coordination of management accounts and associated reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
* Take ownership of the draft financial statements and proactively manage the audit process, resolving queries efficiently.
* Oversee the production of monthly management information and deliver high-quality financial insights and ad-hoc analysis.
* Lead on the tax return, including Tax Relief claims, and ensure compliance with government financial reporting requirements.
* Drive improvements in financial systems and processes, including the implementation of new system
* Coordinate the annual budgeting process and support long-term financial planning and forecasting.
* Present financial information to senior stakeholders and deputise for the Chief Operating Officer on finance-related matters.
Profile
A successful Financial Controller should have:
* A recognised qualification in accounting or finance (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
* Experience in managing financial operations within the not-for-profit or public sector.
* Proficiency in financial software and Excel skills.
* Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills for presenting financial information.
