Valence School is a KCC Foundation day andresidential Special School for children and young people aged from4 to 19 with physical disabilities complex medical needs andassociated learning difficulties. We are part of the Kent SpecialEducational Needs Trust(KsENT).
Tasks
You willprovide individualised needs for a student for which full trainingwill be provided. You will be responsible for enabling the studentslearning promoting their independence and helping them achieve. Youwill need to be a confident advocate recognising the potential ofthe individual and championing their needs along with exceptionalcommunication skills and patience.

Requirements
Therole will include a substantial amount of moving and handling andpersonal care. Although experience of complex physical and medicalneeds is not essential as we provide comprehensive training anaspiration to enable students to learn and achieve meaningfulindependenceis.
