Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated and flexible Band 3 Healthcare assistant to join our Ear, Nose and Throat outpatient team at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn NHS Foundation Trust.
Responsibilities
* Support day to day running and preparation of booked and emergency clinics, seeing both adults and children.
* Assist with diagnostic procedures performed in an outpatient setting.
* Care for patients attending the Main Outpatient department as delegated by the Nurse in charge; may include collection of specimens, observations, assistance with sterile procedural clinics and chaperoning.
* Participate in Infection Prevention and Control Measures within the Department.
* Use patient information systems and input patient data.
* Work as part of a multi‑disciplinary team.
* Report to the Nurse in charge and document in accordance with Trust policy, including safeguarding concerns (e.g., child protection and vulnerable adults).
