Due to company expansion, they are now seeking an experienced Principal Scientist to join the company as the subject matter expert (SME) on Fluorescent In Situ Hybridisation (FISH), and support the quality control requirements for product performance. The role: Working as part of the Quality Control (QC) team, the Principal Scientist role is a fully onsite position. The role does not involve direct line management, however, you will be responsible for the management of on-going projects which will include mentorship and supervision. Core responsibilities will include: * Lead projects through effective planning, organisation and implementation to successfully deliver QC validation of new products * Utilise expertise in FISH diagnostics to conduct testing to ensure quality compliance * Conduct practical test for effective IHC/FISH staining techniques * Undertake slide screening of Class I, II and III medical device products * Support cross-functional teams to deliver a smooth progression of product development cycle.
