Job Description We are seeking a motivated and service‑focused IT Technician to join the Technology team at Fairmont St Andrews. In this role, you will support the smooth and reliable operation of all hotel IT systems, providing both proactive maintenance and responsive technical assistance to colleagues across the property. Key Responsibilities Hotel Technology Support Assist with the onboarding and setup of new colleagues. Install, configure, and maintain IT systems in line with established standards and under the guidance of the IT Manager. Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, ensuring clear communication with users throughout. Carry out routine checks on hardware, software, and system performance. Support periodic audits of IT equipment and assets. Assist with the configuration and maintenance of the IP phone system (queues, ring orders, etc.). Perform proactive maintenance of printers and manage consumables. Audio‑Visual (AV) Support Maintain an accurate inventory of all hotel AV equipment. Conduct regular testing and preventative maintenance of AV systems. Set up, operate, and support AV equipment for meetings and events. Work closely with the Events Operations team and external partners to ensure seamless AV delivery.
