If you are experienced in the UK Defined Benefit/Final Salary Pension field, join our team and enjoy an encouraging, collaborative environment with ample opportunities for career growth and diverse client projects. We support achieving a fully-qualified Actuary status; pursuing additional exams is not a prerequisite. We offer mentorship and resources to help you acquire a Scheme Actuary certificate. You will take an active role in leading a portfolio of clients and serving as a client manager for some of them.

How you'll make an impact
Working within an established team of qualified and part-qualified actuaries, you will act as an actuarial assistant for a portfolio of clients. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Handling the preparation of valuations and cost estimates
2. Undertaking and supervising accounting disclosures (FRS17, IAS19, USGAAP)
3. Coordinating data collection, including editing and testing data received from clients
4. Undertaking and checking all aspects of actuarial work related to pension schemes
5. Preparing letters, reports, and other client materials
6. Checking daily individual calculations as requested
7. Participating in internal projects and handling special assignments as needed
8. Assisting scheme consultants with pension scheme consultancy aspects, including attending client/trustee meetings
9. Providing leadership, feedback, and training to actuarial analysts
About You
We seek dedicated individuals with a degree in numerical or mathematical fields who are progressing through their actuarial exams.
