Overview
Learning Support Practitioner - Focus provision pupils role at ASPIRE PEOPLE LIMITED – working across two schools within our Focus Provision for Autism in Smethwick. You will provide individual and small group support within the Focus Provision classes, work alongside the class teacher and Focus Provision team to create resources (including visual aids to support understanding), develop key vocabulary and support children with specific targets. You will be working with a range of children across the primary age range and should be flexible and adaptable to each child's needs. Experience of working with autistic children and using a range of communication strategies and autism-specific approaches is essential.
Ongoing training and support will be provided. We have dedicated Focus Provision classrooms, including sensory rooms in each school.

Qualifications and Skills
* Experience of working with autistic children or similar learning needs.
* Flexibility and adaptability to varying needs across the primary age range.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and under the guidance of the class teacher.
