We are recruiting for two temporary Intensive Housing Management Officer positions within a supported housing scheme in Kettering. The role is the same across both posts, with one position covering day shifts and one covering night shifts. This is an opportunity to support vulnerable residents living in supported accommodation, ensuring their safety, wellbeing, and ability to sustain their tenancy. The Role: Intensive Housing Management Officer: You will provide intensive housing management and on-site support, ensuring the scheme operates safely, effectively, and in line with housing management and health and safety standards. Day and night responsibilities are aligned, with the night role placing additional emphasis on building security and emergency response. Key Responsibilities of an Intensive Housing Management Officer: Conduct pre-tenancy interviews, needs assessments, and risk assessments Provide tenancy-related advice and assist with benefit claims Promote independence and support residents to sustain their tenancy Monitor rent and service charge accounts, including reporting arrears and voids Maintain accurate records using housing management systems (e.g. Orchard, Service Connect) Log repairs and liaise with internal teams to ensure timely completion Ensure the scheme is clean, safe, and compliant with health and safety requirements Complete regular health and safety checks Act as a visible and accessible point of contact for residents Monitor building security, including CCTV and access control (particularly during night shifts) Respond to emergency alarm calls and challenging situations, liaising with external agencies where required Work collaboratively with colleagues and partner agencies Contribute to KPI reporting and customer satisfaction feedbackAbout You: Experience in housing management, supported housing, concierge, or security environments Experience working with vulnerable individuals Knowledge of tenancy management, safeguarding, and housing-related support Confident managing challenging situations calmly and professionally Strong IT and administrative skills Able to work independently (particularly for the night position) Good communication and partnership working skillsWhat’s on Offer: £17 – £19 per hour Temporary contract Supportive team environment Meaningful role supporting vulnerable residentsIf you are interested in either of these Intensive Housing Management Officer positions please apply or contact (url removed)
