About The Role
St Margaret's School is seeking a passionate and dynamic Head of Games & PE Teacher to join our dedicated and hardworking team. This is an exciting opportunity for an inspiring educator who is committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning both in the classroom and on the sports field. Our sporting ethos balances healthy competition with inclusivity, and our pupils are bright, enthusiastic, and a pleasure to teach. The successful candidate will lead and develop our sports programme, coach teams across a range of disciplines, and contribute fully to the academic and extra-curricular life of the school. Who we are looking for:
The successful candidate will hold Qualified Teacher Status or possess equivalent experience and certification, with a proven track record as an outstanding teacher or coach. They will have experience teaching PE and Games across a range of age groups and demonstrate excellent organisational skills, creativity, and innovation in their approach. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate empathetically and effectively with pupils, parents, and colleagues are essential. Above all, we are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, committed, and willing to play a full and active role in the wider life of the School.
