Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join a thriving and supportive secondary school based in Congleton from September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a supportive and forward-thinking team where high-quality teaching and student achievement are a priority.
About the role:
* Start- Date: 1st September
* Ongoing/long-term, with opportunity for a permanent contract with the school
* Opportunity to earn £30,000 to £40,000 (dependent on payscale)
You will be responsible for teaching mathematics across KS3 and KS4 and a range of abilities. You will plan engaging, differentiated lessons that inspire a love of maths while ensuring the curriculum is accessible to all learning needs and allowing students to reach their full potential. Additionally, you will assess and monitor student progress, contribute to departmental development, and participate in the wider school community through extra-curricular and enrichment activities.
What we’re looking for:
* QTS or equivalent in secondary Maths
* Experience teaching in a secondary school is necessary (university placements included)
* Excellent knowledge of the national curriculum and behaviour management techniques
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills required
