We're looking for a Workshop Team Member to join our friendly production team, supporting the build of our signature artificial trees, artificial planting displays, scenic structures and bespoke installations. No two projects are the same - one day you might be constructing large tree frames, the next attaching foliage in creating life-like trees, painting in finishes for the final artistic touches, or helping prepare completed trees ready for installation.
This is a brilliant role for someone with a skilful handyman background, joinery skills, and or practical workshop experience who likes problem-solving, getting stuck in, and working in a fun, collaborative environment.
What you'll be doing
* Helping build our artificial trees and artificial planted greenery displays using tools like drills, saws, sanders and hand tools
* Working with materials such as timber, bark, foliage, foams and paints
* Assisting with workshop prep, setup and tidy-down
* Supporting with loading/unloading and helping maintain a safe, organised workshop
* Taking pride in the details — making sure every project looks fantastic
* Working alongside our talented Workshop Team Leader and the wider team to meet build deadlines and bring creative designs to life
We install our projects all over the UK, Europe and World Wide, which means you'll sometimes stay away overnight — but don't worry, all expenses are fully paid.
What we're looking for
* Some hands-on experience; maybe joinery, carpentry, set building, handyman tasks, or general workshop work
* Confidence using hand tools and basic power tools
* A practical mind; someone who can figure things out, ask questions, and muck in
* A good team player with a positive, can-do attitude
* Someone who enjoys physical, varied work — no two days look the same here.
* Driving License
If you've worked in joinery, shopfitting, exhibition building, landscaping, props/scenic workshops, or any similar hands-on environment, you'll feel right at home.
