About the Business We have a fantastic new opportunity to become a Group Finance Assistant with a business that is a big player within their industry! This role offers great training and development from friendly, experienced managers. There is also the opportunity to help look after the US side of the business and eventually take ownership of it! Main Duties: As a Group Finance Assistant, your main duties include: * Responsible for daily transaction postings and upkeep of all ledgers associated with the group’s US-based subsidiary. * Coordinate with the US team to confirm stock receipts and ensure stock invoices align with purchase orders for all raw material acquisitions. * Input and set up sales orders within the system, including assigning lots as required. * Process and dispatch sales orders in the system, along with the preparation and distribution of sales invoices. * Manage both sales and purchase ledgers, including handling supplier payment runs and overseeing credit control activities. * Perform reconciliations of supplier statements to validate the accuracy of ledger balances. * Record sales receipts, supplier payments, and other bank transactions or journal entries as needed. * Gather and compile various financial data to support month-end accounting processes. * Provide assistance with multiple month-end tasks, which may include: Bank reconciliations, Debtors, Creditors, Prepay...
