Job Description Overview We are seeking a confident and skilled Radiology Consultant specialising in General Radiology to join the dynamic medical team at an NHS Trust in the Midlands. As a Radiology Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expertise in diagnostic radiology while ensuring the highest standard of patient care. Responsibilities Conduct and interpret diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasounds Provide expert consultation to other healthcare professionals on patient imaging and diagnosis Collaborate with medical staff to ensure accurate and efficient patient care Stay current with advancements in radiological technology and participate in continuous education and professional development Oversee and mentor junior radiologists and trainees Qualifications Medical degree and valid state medical license GMC Registration or within the application process Minimum of 5 years of experience in General Radiology Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team Commitment to providing high-quality patient care Day-to-day Review patient imaging cases and provide diagnostic reports Collaborate with referring physicians to discuss imaging findings and recommend further diagnostic or treatment plans Lead or participate in clinical discussions and case conferences to enhance patient care Engage in ongoing professional development and educational activities to stay up-to-date with current medical knowledge and industry trends
