We have an exciting opportunity for Senior Primary Care Nurseto join ourUnscheduled Care Team atHMP Wormwood Scrubs, a category BPrison located inLondon.
In this role you will have the opportunity to provide the highest standards of healthcare to our patients, without having to compromise on efficiency and quality.
Hours
The site currently offers a24-hour service
Days: Monday to Sunday - 07:30 - 19:45
Nights: Monday to Sunday - 19:45 - 07:30
There will be an expectation to work alternate weekends.
Salary
This position isfull time,you’ll receive an annual salary up to£53,172per annum - depending on experience.

Candidates are required to have a Legal right to work in the UK and due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks.
What you'll be doing
As anUnscheduled Care Nurse you willyou willattend emergency response situations across the prison, assess patients and ensure that follow up care is implemented.
You will:
* Work within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a nurse led service and prevent hospital admissions.
* Undertake medication rounds, dispense controlled medication, attend emergency response situations, assess patients, and undertake reception screening.
* Provide outstanding evidence based care to our patients, seeking out, listening to and acting on their feedback, so that care is personalised and informed by what matters to them.
* Deliver non-judgemental care that makes a real difference.
* Inspire excellence by forging strong links with our partners and stakeholders.
* Promote best practice, clinical supervision, evidence based care and continuous quality improvement, embedding a culture of shared learning.

Requirements:
* NMC Registered nurse – Adult
* Evidence of Continued Professional Development
* Understanding of the complexities of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working
* A non-judgmental and compassionate approach
* Excellent communication skills
