Recovery Worker
, you will play a pivotal role in transforming lives, working closely with individuals to help them realize their full potential. Located at
Beacon Lodge
, a mental health step-down unit, you will assist individuals in transitioning from acute mental health wards back into the community. If you are passionate about empowering people, this is your chance to help them develop the skills needed for independent living. With a focus on key working, you will manage a small caseload and contribute to the daily operations of our service.
Your Responsibilities
As a Recovery Worker, you will: Provide
person-centered care
through recovery-focused support, key working sessions, and group activities. Empower individuals to gain new skills and promote their long-term recovery. Develop tailored support and risk management plans, ensuring effective discharge planning. Encourage positive change and independence in the lives of those you support. Work on a
24-hour rolling rota
that includes 12-hour day and waking night shifts, with alternate weekends.
Are You the Ideal Candidate?
We are looking for someone who: Has experience in the mental health sector and a solid understanding of the recovery model. Possesses a
solution-focused attitude
and a person-centered approach. Is comfortable working both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Exhibits empathy, understanding, and patience while engaging with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
