What are your contributions to the team?
* Adheres to General Work Requirements
* Assists with analyzing feasibility according to optimal methods by assessing the costs, impacts and risks of a change in production
* Assists with drafting the necessary working and repair documents
* Learns to analyze and estimate PCR (Program Change Request)
* Assists with analyzing equipment and workstation production capacity
* Assists with analyzing requirements and initiates productions tool purchase orders, including ECAAR (Emergency Capital Acquisition Authorization)
* Assists Methods Planners with tool designs
* Directs Methods Planners in the preparation and revision of manufacturing documents such as MIWOs, LOGs, TWOs, Set-Up Documents (Mfg Work Orders, Work Instructions (LOGs) and Tooling Work Orders)
How to thrive in this role?
* Demonstrable experience in Methods, Material Planning, or related area
* Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering (preferred)
* Thorough knowledge of Project Management principles
* Knowledge of SAP, ACAD, Catia V4/V5
* Ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings and specifications
* Manufacturing background preferred
