TP Tutors is seeking caring and motivated SEN Tutors in Andover to provide one-to-one educational support for students with additional learning needs.
Role: SEN Tutor
Location: Andover and surrounding areas
Hours: Flexible part-time and full-time opportunities available
About the Role
You will deliver personalised tuition sessions designed around each learner’s individual abilities, goals, and interests. Working closely with students who may face barriers to education, you will help create positive learning experiences that encourage both academic and personal growth.
Sessions may be delivered in homes or community-based settings.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and tailored one-to-one tuition sessions
* Support students with additional needs including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and EBSA
* Adapt lesson plans and teaching strategies to suit different learners
* Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment
* Build trusting relationships with pupils and families
* Help students improve confidence, independence, and engagement with education
About You
* Experience working with children or young people is desirable
* Backgrounds in education, tutoring, mentoring, youth work, or care are welcomed
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* Patient, adaptable, and proactive approach
* Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
* Ability to travel throughout Andover and nearby locations

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
