We are a busy law firm seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing excellent customer service while managing a variety of administrative tasks. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively in a busy office environment. This role is part-time and a job-share with our other receptionist
Duties
* Greet clients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression.
* Answer and direct phone calls with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
* Manage incoming correspondence, including emails and postal mail, ensuring timely responses.
* Maintain an organised reception area, ensuring it is tidy and welcoming at all times.
* Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, utilising both Microsoft Office and Leap applications.
* Assist with scheduling appointments and managing calendars for staff members as needed.
* Handle clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents to support the administrative team.
* Support various administrative functions as needed to ensure smooth office operations.
Requirements
* Previous reception experience is not essential but preferred.
* Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) applications.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent typing skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry.
* Demonstrated clerical experience with a focus on maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
* Flexibility to cover holiday and sick leave for our other receptionist.
