Therole:
Were looking for apassionate SEO Manager to join our growing team. This is a newlycreated and pivotal role at Pooky! As a proven SEO specialist youwill be responsible for driving organic search success for ourecommerce sites. You will improve technical SEO focus on keywordtargeting and collaborate with development and content teams. Yourexpertise will optimise our content marketing efforts ensuringcontinuous improvement and ROI maximisation.
Main responsibilities:
* Identifying areas ofkeyword focus and targets for Pookys ecommercesites.
* Preparing reporting for Organic Searchacross Pookys websites.
* Identifying areas ofimprovement for technical SEO and liaising with development teamand website administrator to implement fixes andimprovements.
* Identifying areas of opportunityfor content marketing and liaising with content marketing team toensure blog content is hitting searchgoals.
* Partnering with the content andmarketing teams and providing recommendations for organic SEOsuccess.
* Working towards organic search growthoptimization and ROI maximisation.
* Working withthe ecommerce manager to identify areas of improvement for PPCcampaigns based on organic searchresults.
* Managing internal search reporting andinvestigative tools.
* Keeping pace with searchengine and PPC industry trends anddevelopments.
* Managing the trading calendar andimplementing sales strategiesaccordingly.
* Identifying opportunities for A/Band multivariate testing.
* Ensuring seamlesscustomer experience and driving revenue generation by coordinatingwith the Website Administrator to optimise third partysystems.
* Conducting market research andcompetitor analysis to keep up to date on industry trends andinform strategicdecisionmaking.
Whatexperience and skills youllneed:
Were looking for anexperienced and motivated SEO specialist from either an inhouse oragency background. You will have experience of both strategy andimplementation of technical and content SEO. You will haveextensive experience using SEO and SEM tools such as SEMRush orahRefs as well as reporting in GA4. Strong IT skills including MSOffice especially Excel are required.
Werelooking for someone who is excited about working as part of ahardworking small team within a growing and ambitious organisation.Youll be a selfstarter who enjoys being handson and heading up allSEO duties whilst working collaboratively across the wider team.Were seeking a methodical and detailorientated person with a knackfor relationship building and stakeholder management.
Ideally you will have previous experience ofworking for an international B2C ecommerce business. Experience inthe interior design soft furnishings or lighting industries wouldbe beneficial although not essential.
We areGloucester based so the successful candidate will need to livewithin an easy commute of the office and work predominantly onsiteas part of our collaborative team.
