We’re looking for an Assistant Financial Accountant to join our Group Financial Reporting team on a fixed term contract for 12 months, supporting our annual audit and statutory accounts process. You will work closely with experienced finance professionals, supporting on key regulatory reporting activities such as VAT returns and NROSH submissions.

What you’ll be doing
Working alongside the Financial Accountants you will support in the preparation of the annual statutory accounts for the group’s subsidiary companies.
You will also assist in the delivery of the group’s external regulatory financial reporting, including the quarterly VAT and NROSH returns.
About you
You will ideally be a part-qualified member of a CCAB body (ACA/CIMA/ACCA).
The role is suitable for a part qualified accountant, or in the absence of professional qualifications you would hold three years of relevant experience. This would include working as part of a financial reporting team, completing management accounting, budgeting, working with financial systems and working as part of a larger team to achieve common goals.
You’ll need to be an effective communicator, establishing and building relationships across the business to enable collaborative working where applicable.
You’ll be working in a fast paced environment, so you’ll need to be able to juggle conflicting priorities and a demanding workload so a high energy, pragmatic, get it done attitude is essential.
You'll be a good team player with a ‘can-do’ attitude, as well as being a proactive, forward thinker with a flexible approach to hours worked.
