We are passionate believers in the benefits of low code, and our platform of choice is OutSystems. Initially, we’re focusing on the UK, but we aim to create a competence centre and offer OutSystems capabilities across the wider European PHOENIX Group.
We are a key player in the UK healthcare market, operating over 400 pharmacies and a national distribution network supplying medicines to thousands of pharmacies, doctors, and hospitals daily. This role offers the opportunity to develop your skills while contributing to the health of the nation.
Responsibilities
As a Digital Developer in our team, you will work with customers to understand business problems and opportunities. Using the OutSystems low code platform, you will design, build, and deploy innovative digital solutions, participating in all stages from initial idea to launch and supporting applications in line with DevOps principles.
* Collaborate with your team to create customer journey maps to understand experiences and identify improvements.
* Work directly with customers to create wireframes and prototypes exploring solutions.
* Build solutions using OutSystems Low Code Application Platform.
* Integrate with other business applications via RESTful APIs.
* Perform QA, including writing integration tests.
* Conduct usability testing.
* Troubleshoot live applications.
Knowledge and Skills
* Good understanding of relational database concepts and SQL.
* Experience with OutSystems or similar low code platforms, or traditional development experience using C# or Java.
* OutSystems training may be available for those transitioning from traditional development.
* Experience with lean and/or agile methodologies and tools like Jira.
* QA experience, particularly writing and executing unit and integration tests.
