The Role
The post holder is to effectively and efficiently manage the PSSD Computer Aided Facility Management (CAFM) and Estate Asset Management System (EAMS) systems through the use of in‑house and contract staff as appropriate. To work with managers and other stakeholders to implement additional system functionality and service deliveries. Manage and interpret the data sets within the Computer Aided Facility Management (CAFM) and Estate Asset Management System (EAMS) systems; ensuring statutory and mandatory information is record and archived appropriately & produce technical reports.

What we'll need you to bring
The post holder should be educated to/working towards/operating at degree level or equivalent in an appropriate discipline.;
* Management/Engineering/Building;
* business information technology;
* business systems engineering;
* computer science;
* information technology; or
* equivalent qualifications, training and learning programmes/courses.
With specialist knowledge and experience in an operational management in a healthcare setting or commercial environments ensuring that the level of expertise can be utilised to deliver leadership within speciality.
* Further education/evidence of Continuous Professional Development in area of speciality including study days/courses/post graduate qualification.
* Post graduate expertise within speciality that demonstrates the required breadth of knowledge required to lead safety, effectively and efficiently.
* The post holder should have demonstrable experience of change management, preferably within a Management/Engineering/Building environment and should have a detailed understanding of the operational requirements of the service.
* The post holder will possess excellent team‑working/leadership skills and have the ability to motivate others and work using own initiative
* An understanding of the relationship between Acute and Primary Care would be advantageous together with experience in the implementation of new technologies in health settings.
* The post holder will have a role in the interpretation and application of relevant policies as they relate to the systems. An understanding of clinical processes including guidelines, standards and clinical protocol development would be advantageous.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills and experience of business case development are essential, together with strong people management skills with an ability to influence change.
An understanding of project management as it relates to IT Systems deployment is required.

It would be great if you also have
* The post holder requires to be professionally qualified and a hold membership of an appropriate professional body.
* Corporate member of an appropriate professional body, related to building services engineering and or estates management.
* Proven track record in building services engineering and or estates management.
* Management experience and knowledge of building services engineering gained in a complex building maintenance environment.
* Specialist knowledge and experience in an operational management post in healthcare or related commercial environment is required, plus a qualification in operational management, (if not taken as part of the degree) is required to fulfil the duties and responsibilities of the post
* Demonstrate sound knowledge and understanding of Statutory Standards & the management of Health & Safety
* A good knowledge of current NHS specific legislation is highly desirable with an IOSH qualification
* Microsoft certification is highly desirable.
* Have highly developed physical skills and accuracy, for the manipulation and preparation of drawings/data using CAD, CAFM and EAM systems.
* Have sound knowledge and experience of CAFM and EAM systems, the ability to generate and present complex reports.
* Experience of contract management, auditing,
* contract specification, procurement and evaluation of tenders / proposals
* Team player as well ability to work on own, with man management experience and leadership qualities, adaptable, logical and methodical I approach to problem solving, with the ability to work out what is needed for a task to succeed.
* Have excellent problem solving and good interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage change.
* The ability to take responsibility and work cooperatively with other as well as being highly motivated and self‑directed.
