Due to retirement, we are seeking a talented and experienced leader to join our Care Leadership team as Director of Care Services covering the region in the North of England. Accountable for around 35 homes and over £80m turnover your leadership of a team of District Managers will directly influence the quality of life for thousands of older people, deliver strong financial performance and help shape the future of care at Anchor.

* Deliver financial performance – successfully balance a mixed portfolio of local authority and privately funded beds, achieving occupancy, budget and long-term sustainability.
* Influence transformation – contribute to innovation and continuous improvement, embed future care models, and ensure successful delivery of our ambitious Care Strategy 2024–2029.
We are looking for a leader who is both commercially astute and values-driven, with:
* Senior level experience in the UK Adult care sector, ideally with experience of local authority, privately funded and luxury market products – including the effective commissioning of new homes.
* A proven track record of delivering compliant high-quality care, financial success and operational improvement.
* The presence, credibility, and relationship-building skills to motivate, influence and inspire colleagues at all levels.
* A genuine passion for improving the lives of older people.
