We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Healthcare Assistant to provide one‑to‑one care for a child with complex health needs at home during night shifts. The Role:
We are recruiting an experienced and compassionate Female Healthcare Assistant to support a young client with complex care needs during night shifts. You will work closely with the child's family and the multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, person‑centred care while supporting emotional well‑being and development. Comprehensive in‑house training and an induction programme will be provided by our Nurse Manager. We are committed to supporting you throughout your role to ensure the best possible outcomes for our client.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide care for Cardiofaciocutaneous Syndrome and developmental delay
* Manage eczema with appropriate skin care
* Monitor heart condition (left ventricle hypertrophy)
* Administer colomycin nebuliser for chronic pseudomonas
* Observe and report health changes
* Maintain a safe and hygienic environment
Available Shift Patterns
* Monday, Tuesday and Sunday - 21:00 - 07:00
Essential
Knowledge of infection control, experience with tracheostomy care, airway management, enteral feeding, administering nebulizers, monitoring with sats machines and experience in paediatric complex care.
