CNC Operator Mansfield Monday – Friday – 40 hour week (O/T Available) £DOE CNC Operator The Role My client is a leading manufacturer in their field, looking for a experienced CNC Operator whom will primarily carve and shape plastics, metals, and woods. A vital part of their job is ensuring the accuracy of their machinery. CNC Operator Main Responsibilities Set up tools and load materials onto CNC machine. Using the CNC machine Operating industrial machinery, which can include a hydraulic press, grinder, borer, or overhead crane Fitting the right tools to active machines Performing proper set-up and calibration procedures for all equipment and accessories Setting tolerance levels and cutting speeds Translates the requirements of detailed part drawings into measurements for production Inspecting workflows to ensure that technical and quality standards are met Devising a work plan to efficiently carry out daily machining CNC Operator The Candidate Experienced with CNC Operations Desirable to have had experience of working with metals, wood and plastic Be proficient at set up, operation and adjustment of tool and fixture offsets on CNC machine tools as well as conventional milling machines would be preferred. Ability to read engineering drawings and quality plans.
