Our vision is one of ambition and inspiration, and consistent with our school’s motto of ‘Striving for Excellence – Caring for All.’ We are determined to ensure that every young person receives the very best at MGS, so we're constantly innovating and looking for new ideas to improve our young people's experience.
Our pupil-centred approach and ambition for young people is also reflected in our school values of Honesty, Determination and Respect. Continuing to improve attainment and achievement is our key objective, along with ensuring that our young people develop all the skills required for a positive and successful life after school, and we recorded our highest exam performance this year.
Our Modern Languages Faculty is in an exciting time of change and improvement, and this is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic, inspiring and committed teacher of Modern Languages to lead the faculty. You will lead of a team of enthusiastic teachers who are passionate about teaching language and giving our young people a strong foundation in this area of the curriculum; giving them skills to equip them for life. You must be able to teach Spanish across all levels of the curriculum, and ideally teach one more language, but we are flexible about which second language this is.
