Key Tasks and Responsibilities
* Undertake all forms of pedagogic work including classroom teaching, lecturer work and associated outreach duties, open and distance learning courses and student placements.
* Ensure the associated organisational and required administrative work, preparation and marking is undertaken.
* Provide appropriate student welfare and academic/non‑academic counselling responsibilities and ensure safeguarding procedures are adhered to.
* Conduct curriculum development work including identification of consumer requirements, planning, development and evaluation of courses and course materials.
Beneficial Skills & Qualifications
* Recent and relevant industry experience.
* Experience of working in a pressured environment to tight timescales and deadlines.
* Outstanding organisational skills.
* Excellent communication, literacy and teaching presentation skills.

Variable Hours Lecturer in Spanish Role Information: Reference: REQ001331, Location: Stroud Campus, FTE Salary: Up to £30,546.00 (Salary is dependent on qualifications and experience), Hourly Rate: Up to £31.51 (inclusive of holiday and preparation allowance), Contract Type: 0 hour contract, fixed term until 31st August 2026, Working Hours: Part time, 8 hours per week (Wednesday and Thursday evenings).
