We are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in mechanical engineering, and be qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 3. You will have the ability to operate and programme CNC milling machines and have experience with 4 axis machines.
Responsibilities
* Operate CNC milling machines to produce high-quality components according to specifications
* Set up and adjust tooling and fixtures for various machining tasks
* Interpret technical drawings and CAD files to ensure accurate fabrication
* Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance
* Conduct quality checks using precision measuring instruments to maintain product standards
* Collaborate with team members where multi-stage operations are necessary
* Utilise hand tools for finishing operations
* Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations
* Adaptability to use turning equipment if required
Requirements
* Proven experience in CNC milling operations, with a strong understanding of machining processes
* Minimum NVQ level 3 in Mechanical Engineering
* 4 axis experience, as a minimum requirement
* Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
* Mathematical skills for measurements and calculations related to machining tasks
