Randstad Education is actively recruiting enthusiastic and highly skilled EYFS Supply Teachers (QTS) for assignments across our partner primary schools in Bradford. We have immediate openings for candidates who are passionate about the Nursery and Reception age groups (3:5 years).
This is a vital role focused on providing a safe, stimulating, and consistent learning environment in line with the EYFS framework. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging continuous provision and adult:led activities, ensuring our youngest pupils make rapid progress in their prime and specific areas of learning.
Key Responsibilities

Curriculum Delivery: Confidently plan, deliver, and assess activities based on the EYFS Curriculum, emphasising learning through play and continuous provision.

Literacy Foundations: Implement effective strategies for developing early language, communication, and phonics awareness (e.g., Phase 1 and 2).

Assessment and Observation: Conduct accurate and ongoing observations and record childrens development to inform future planning and identify next steps in their learning journey.
*
Environment Management: Ensure both indoor and outdoor learning environments are safe, inviting, and highly stimulating, promoting active exploration and discovery.

Behaviour and Welfare: Maintain positive behaviour through nurturing yet clear management strategies, focusing on the social and emotional well:being of the pupils.

Collaboration: Liaise professionally with permanent staff and Teaching Assistants to ensure consistent support and smooth transitions throughout the day.
Essential Candidate Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): You must hold Qualified Teacher Status relevant to the UK.
*
Experience: Recent and demonstrated experience teaching within Nursery and/or Reception classes. A deep, practical understanding of the EYFS framework is paramount.

DBS: A current, clear Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service (or willingness for one immediately through Randstad).

Qualities: High levels of patience, creativity, enthusiasm, and adaptability are essential for engaging young children.
