Job Description:
Role: Senior iOS Engineer
Location: Fully remote - UK or Europe!
A high-growth, award-winning SaaS EdTech start-up is looking for a Senior iOS Engineer to join the team. If you're the kind of developer who wants real product ownership, a tight-knit team, and the chance to shape the direction of an entire app, this one's for you.
But first, the good stuff:
* Unlimited holiday – most of the team takes 32–35 days, plus office closes for around 2 weeks over Christmas
* Remote-friendly – very flexible on hours and location
* MacBook and AirPods – top-tier kit for working from home
* Private healthcare – available to all UK-based staff
* Collaborative culture – founders, engineers, and designers work side by side
* Equity & recognition – share scheme available, results are rewarded
The company is already a market leader with 21M+ annual page views, a #1-rated app across app stores, and 1 in 4 UK students using their platform to apply to university. They aim to double that, and your work will directly contribute to this growth.
What will you be doing?
This is a hands-on iOS role with a fast-growing product and an experienced team. You’ll implement designs supporting a seamless university search experience, collaborate with back-end and design teams, and take ownership of the app's future development.
You’ll write clean, scalable Swift/SwiftUI code, shape the architecture, and lay the foundations for a growing mobile function. This role is ideal for stepping into a lead-track position without corporate layers.
What they're looking for:
* 3+ years’ commercial iOS experience (Swift/SwiftUI)
* Experience building scalable apps with good performance and UX
* Strong understanding of OOP, functional programming, and modern design patterns
* Experience working with REST APIs and GraphQL
* Proactive mindset and ability to work independently
* Care about product quality, not just shipping features
This is a brilliant opportunity to join a product-led, fast-moving team where your input will shape the roadmap, product, and mobile development.
Sound interesting? Let’s talk.
