This is a long-term opportunity, working with pupils aged 14–16, many of whom present with challenging behaviour and SEMH needs .
Working Pattern: Monday to Thursday, every week What You'll Do: Deliver and support planned lessons in the absence of a teacher, following set schemes of work Provide classroom leadership and manage behaviour effectively within a PRU setting Support pupils with SEMH needs and challenging behaviour to engage positively in learning Work with small groups and on a one-to-one basis where required Build strong, consistent relationships with pupils to promote engagement and progress Work closely with teaching staff and pastoral teams to implement behaviour and support strategies Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment What We're Looking For: HLTA status or substantial experience working at HLTA level Experience working with SEMH, challenging behaviour, or PRU/alternative provision settings Strong behaviour management skills and a calm, consistent approach Resilience, patience, and the ability to remain professional in challenging situations Confidence working with KS4 pupils (ages 14–16) A genuine commitment to supporting vulnerable young people Why Work with Winner Education? xxuwjjq Competitive daily rates PAYE payroll – no umbrella companies Long-term placement in a specialist setting Free CPD courses and ongoing support £200 referral bonus for teacher/TA recommendations Call Pav on to apply today.
