The Company currently have vacancy for a Second Engineer in its ERRV/MRV fleet.
Start date 04/09/2025. Permanent contract. 4 weeks on/off rotation.
Candidates should hold 2nd Engineer CoC and preferably have worked on and ERRV or similar type of vessel.

SecondEngineer is responsible for the following:
* The operational status of the ship, its machinery, propulsion systems and technical equipment permanently installed on board, during his period on watch.
* The safety of personnel within sphere of influence.
* The maintenance of the vessel, machinery installed on board in a sound condition ready for operations.
* Reporting any defects to the plant and machinery installed on board to the Chief Engineer.
* Recognising stores requirements, spares and equipment for the Engine Department.
* Monitoring safe working practices of shore contractors during periods of maintenance.
* Examining and accepting stores and spares delivered to the vessel, and informing the Chief Engineer of any missing / outstanding items or items delivered in error.
* Assisting in the fuelling procedure to ensure all precautions are being adhered to.
* Actively promoting and progressing the company Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental Policy.
* Actively promoting inter-departmental communications.
