Job Introduction
We are currently recruiting for an Aftersales Manager for our MG Dealership based in Solihull.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the team ahead of our new dealership opening in June / July 2025. MG is one of the fastest-growing automotive brands, with an extensive list of new models lined up for release. The successful candidate will be joining this exciting journey.
The hours of work are 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, with Saturdays on a rota basis from 8.30am to 1pm.
Benefits include the use of a company car and an OTE of £55,000.
This role would ideally suit someone who has previously worked as a Senior Service Advisor, Service Manager, Parts Manager, or experienced Aftersales Manager.
Role and Responsibilities
In every aspect of our dealerships, the aim is always to exceed customer expectations. Customer care is of paramount importance, as you will be leading from the front to ensure our customers receive the best possible service experience.
You will be accountable for all workshop, service, and parts department staff, managing, coaching, and developing the team to reach their full potential and performance.
Planning, forecasting, and delivering sales targets.
Growing workshop utilization and efficiency.
Responsible for your own budget, you will relish the opportunity to drive the business forward.
Working closely with other department managers to improve overall centre performance.
About you
This role would ideally suit someone with experience as a Senior Service Advisor, Service Manager, Parts Manager, Assistant Aftersales Manager, or experienced Aftersales Manager.
You will have the drive and talent to push the department forward, working to achieve KPIs and brand standards.
You must demonstrate a profitable and successful track record of delivering outstanding results and exceptional customer satisfaction.
Strong management and leadership skills, a winning mentality, and a passion for the brand are essential.
Motor trade, automotive, or car dealership experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
