Description
Maintain up-to-date internal bookkeeping recordsManage practice bank reconciliations and cashflowPrepare monthly and quarterly management accountsProcess staff payroll, including RTI submissions and pension contributionsHandle VAT returns and liaise with HMRC where necessarySupport internal budgeting and forecasting processesManage supplier payments and staff expense claims
Profile
A successful Bookkeeper / Payroll should have:
Proven experience in bookkeeping and payroll, ideally within a professional services environmentStrong working knowledge of accounting software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks, or similar)High level of accuracy and attention to detailDiscreet and trustworthy when handling confidential financial informationOrganised, proactive, and able to work independently
