Overview
Maintenance Engineer position with a focus on maintaining manufacturing machinery, completing preventive maintenance, and data recording with accurate feedback. The role includes installation where necessary and ongoing training while ensuring safe working practices.
Responsibilities
* Continental shift: 2 days – 2 nights.
* Make improvements to production and to always maintain manufacturing machinery.
* Ensure all data recording and feedback is completed accurately and on time.
* Perform preventive maintenance and installation work where necessary.
* Maintain safe working practices at all times.
* Undertake training as required.
* Mechanical and electrical fault finding.
Qualifications
* Recognised engineering qualifications.
* Hydraulics and pneumatics knowledge.
* Siemens S7 understanding.
* Heavy engineering background.
* Welding (advantageous).
* Strong fault-finding abilities.
Benefits/Remuneration
* Salary: £48,000 (£50,589 with lifestyle payment).
* Overtime paid at premium rates (x1.5).
* £47.08 lifestyle payment (paid every rostered weekend day).
* 5% matched pension.
* Product-specific training (Siemens S7).
* 23 days holiday.
Location
Commutable from: Wolverhampton, Walsall, Dudley, Bilston, Wednesbury, Cannock, Stourbridge, and surrounding areas.
