Your Key Responsibilities: As a Facilities Support Assistant, you'll play a vital role in keeping our home running smoothly. Your tasks will include:
Cleaning Duties:
* Ensure cleanliness and hygiene — maintain spotless communal areas and resident rooms.
* Sanitise high-touch areas — prevent infection and create a safe environment.
* Handle cleaning supplies safely — follow COSHH and health & safety regulations.
Kitchen Duties:
* Assist with meal preparation — help the kitchen team provide nutritious, tasty meals.
* Clean kitchen areas — ensure workstations and equipment meet hygiene standards.
* Stock the tearoom — ensure drinks and clean crockery are always available for visitors and staff.
Laundry Duties:
* Wash, dry, and fold residents' clothing — handle laundry with care and respect.
* Keep linens fresh and clean — ensure bedding and towels are regularly laundered.
* Organise and return clothing promptly — ensure residents' personal items are returned neatly.
What We're Looking For:
* Previous experience in cleaning, kitchen, or laundry work — preferred but not essential.
* Ability to work flexibly — adapt to different tasks across departments.
* Strong attention to detail — ensure high standards are consistently maintained.
* Team-player attitude — work well with colleagues to create a positive environment.
