Job Description
Job Title: Hotel Manager - Asylum Hotel
Reports To: Group Operations Manager
Purpose of the Role: A Hotel Manager facilitates and manages the hotel in accordance with the exclusive contract as agreed with the Government. The aim is to help the hotel function effectively on a day-to-day basis and to provide a safe, efficient, and comfortable working environment for staff.
Responsibilities:
1. Work with the Housekeeping team to ensure supplies are ordered and received in a timely manner.
2. Ensure due diligence is managed, including fire alarms and evacuation drills for employees of Fairview Hotels only.
3. Ensure Health and Safety is adhered to at all times (Fairview Employees only, as the contracted company is responsible for asylums).
4. Ensure food and beverages are available for Fairview staff during their shifts.
5. Maintain good communication skills.
6. Be knowledgeable on a wide range of areas related to the role.
7. Be responsible, efficient, discreet, and organized.
8. Hold relevant training and/or certifications as a House Manager.
9. Keep H&S Flow modules up to date.
