Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Manager for the Corporate Simplification Team. Our Consulting team integrates multiple disciplines—Transactions, Risk & Consulting, ABA, and Outsourcing—to deliver client-centric solutions for RSM's current and future clients within the middle market. With over 1,700 professionals and nearly £200m revenue, we focus on six key solutions: business transformation, deal services, finance support, risk and governance, forensic and investigation services, and restructuring. These solutions help our clients achieve strategic goals and empower our team members to develop unique career paths.
An exciting opportunity exists within our Corporate Simplification Restructuring Advisory team. The role offers the chance to develop broad commercial skills across corporate reorganizations and Members Voluntary Liquidations. While based primarily in London, the position is open to candidates across the UK, working alongside Partners and Directors nationwide.
The role involves attending marketing events, collaborating with Partners and Directors on marketing and business objectives, and supporting growth and career development with clear progression paths.
Responsibilities:
* Complete assignments following the Firm’s procedures and statutory obligations, including client arrangements, costs, and billing.
* Collaborate with Corporate Simplification staff to plan and execute assignments, managing cases per procedures and regulations.
* Assist and support the team, providing training and support to colleagues.
* Prepare and seek approval for engagement letters, ancillary documents, and take-on procedures.
* Complete KPIs for Partner/Director approval.
* Ensure diary lines are completed in compliance with RA standards.
* Review and approve documents across IPS and Virtual Cabinet.
* Handle general case administration, including billing.
* Understand project details in collaboration with the team and other departments.
* Attend initial client meetings.
* Analyze and challenge client information.
* Manage large corporate reduction projects.
* Oversee asset realizations and distributions.
* Prepare statutory reports.
* Contribute to team development through networking and technical skills.
Personal and professional qualities:
Applicants should be CPI or JIEB qualified, with experience in similar roles and capable of leading Members Voluntary Liquidations. Strong technical, analytical, report-writing, and interpersonal skills are essential. The ideal candidate will have:
* Experience building and managing stakeholder relationships.
* Proven ability to prepare or analyze financial information.
* Experience in Corporate Simplification or similar roles.
* Excellent organizational and communication skills.
* High-quality delivery within deadlines.
* ACA or equivalent qualification is advantageous.
