Qualifications
Essential criteria
1. Basic Numeracy & Literacy Skills
2. Good IT Skills
Desirable criteria
3. Can perform Ankle-Brachial Pressure Indexes (ABPIs)
4. Computer Skills e.g. ECDL
5. NVQ 3 in Health and Social Care or Equivalent qualification/demonstrable experience as a Radiography Department Assistant
Experience and Knowledge
Essential criteria
6. Working within a healthcare team
7. Experience of hospital/care work.
8. Experience of working as an RDA in an X-Ray and Ultrasound department.
Desirable criteria
9. Evidence of team-work
10. Experience in basic nursing care
Other requirements specific to the role
Essential criteria
11. Able to communicate with patients and staff
12. Able to undertake tasks whilst maintaining patients’ dignity.
13. Good attention to detail
14. Ability to assist in radiology ultrasound scans
15. Ability to coordinate daily workflow to Vascular Ultrasound department
