Job Title: BIM Technician
Start Date: Ideally start of June
Duration: 6-month contract (potential for extension)
Location: Onsite in Sheffield (once trained, may be some opportunity for hybrid)
Hourly Rate: Circa GBP 30p/hour
Overview
My client is seeking a BIM Technician to support the delivery of specialist laboratory and technical facility projects across the research, health care, education, and industrial sectors.
Responsibilities
* Produce and maintain accurate 3D BIM models and Revit drawings.
* Support the delivery of specialist laboratory and technical facility projects across research, healthcare, education, and industrial sectors.
* Ensure all design information is fully coordinated and kept up to date throughout the project lifecycle.
* Work closely with design and engineering teams to ensure consistency across all project information.
* Support the successful delivery of complex, high-quality design projects from concept through to completion.
Qualifications
* Strong experience producing and maintaining 3D BIM models and Revit drawings.
* Experience working within design teams on technical or complex building projects.
* Ability to manage and update the BIM model and project Revit drawings.
* Experience with construction platforms such as Asite, Aconex, or 4Projects would be advantageous.
* Ability to manage workload and contribute to projects through all stages of delivery.
* Good communication skills and a proactive, team-focused approach.
