Team and Role
The Citi FXLM Operations Technology team is seeking a Business Analyst to support projects within Operations and Regulatory Technology. The role involves designing functionalities for back-office applications, processing systems, risk management, and interfacing with business applications. The analyst will gain exposure to FX, MM, Fixed Income, and Derivatives trading processes, working closely with various business units.
Responsibilities
1. Collaborate with stakeholders across Trading, Operations, Finance, Product Control, Technology, and PMO to gather requirements.
2. Understand business processes and provide functional design inputs for technology solutions.
3. Create detailed documentation of business and functional requirements.
4. Manage requirements traceability from BRD to testing outcomes.
5. Analyze large datasets, develop flow diagrams, and prepare summaries.
6. Coordinate with development teams on enhancements and defect resolutions.
7. Engage with developers and testers to ensure quality and timely delivery.
Qualifications
1. Extensive experience as a Business Analyst in Investment/Global Banking, particularly in FX, Trade Processing, or Risk Management.
2. Understanding of end-to-end workflows for at least two asset classes (FX, FI, MM, Derivatives).
3. Familiarity with SDLC and Agile methodologies.
4. Knowledge of FX Options, Bonds, Rates is advantageous.
5. Excellent communication skills and ability to translate requirements into technical specifications.
6. Strong analysis skills and troubleshooting abilities.
